24/7/365 Support

Our job is to get you up and running as fast and easy as possible

All accounts use the same name servers. They are:

ns1.webhost.pro
ns2.webhost.pro
ns3.webhost.pro

This is changed where you register your domain name. If you registered a domain name with us, we will automatically add these for you. If you transferred a domain name to us, you will still need to update the name servers once it's complete.

Building a website can seem difficult, that is why we created an easy to understand page to describe exactly how most websites are made and how to do it. Don't worry this is not some long boring document. It's an easy to look through list of options and how to use the one you like best.

Yes! We have level one technicians available 24 hours a day, everyday. These techs man the support desk and monitor everything from the network to the servers. If you have an emergency or a technical issue you should log in and open a ticket with them for the fastest response. They also have the most control over the servers, this allows them to fix more complicated issues right away.

Our customer service team mans the phones, our website chat, and our Skype line. if you have a question or just want to talk about your website feel to contact them anytime. Customer service representatives do not have as much control over the servers. Therefore more advanced issues are better resolved via the technical support ticket system in your account.

Adult Web Hosting is not a moral filter for content. We are not equipped to pass judgment on a client's content. Therefore Adult Web Hosting does allow adult content. Adult Web Hosting does reserve the right to refuse service to anyone on the grounds of abuse of service or illegal activity. If you have questionable content feel free to ask our staff about it. Otherwise, data will be considered data. Our job is to get the packets through to you, not scrutinize them. We request the use of meta tags to distinguish adult content from general content but we do not force than in anyway.

Here is the proper meta tag and variables. Replace the term value with the type of content your website uses. For example adult sites would use the tag: <meta name="rating" content="mature">

Variables:

  • general
  • mature
  • restricted
  • 14 years
  • safe for kids

Meta tag:

<meta name="rating" content="value">

Not at all, just leave it where it is already registered and point the name servers to us.

Our name servers are:

ns1.webhost.pro
ns2.webhost.pro
ns3.webhost.pro

This happens when we upgrade clouds and in some cases a dedicated IP or an account is not synced yet.

The fix is easy though, just add a /cpanel after your domain.

For example if your domain name is: your-main-domain.com You can access cPanel directly with this address in your browser: your-main-domain.com/cpanel/

You can also do this for your web host manager: your-main-domain.com/whm/ and webmail your-main-domain.com/webmail/

There are a number of reasons that your PHP files may not be working properly. Check that you have requested PHP Even though every hosting plan supports PHP you may not have the most recent version or the same option for every server. You can check that you are using the correct version of PHP from the front page of your control panel in the MultiPHP section. Just try each version to see if one works. It can take a minute after the change for it to show on the website.

This will also confirm that PHP is working correctly for your account. If there is an error in the PHP binary or if the permissions were incorrect, an error may be listed on your error log also located in your cPanel.

Check that the cgi-bin and PHP binary have the correct permissions (UNIX platforms)
At times, you may make permission changes to your cgi-bin directory and files. If these permissions are not correct, PHP may not operate properly.

To check that the cgi-bin directory and PHP binary must have the correct permissions.

The permissions must be one of the following: " 751 (which equates to drwxr-x--x) " 755 (which equates to drwxr-xr-x)

This can be done by your file manager or with our free ftp program here:

www.downloadspot.com/2007/12/Filezilla/

Check the directives in your php.ini file (UNIX platforms). If you have uploaded a php.ini file and are experiencing problems with PHP, you may want to check what directives are included in the php.ini file. For example, you may be trying to use a feature that has been disabled in the php.ini file.

Since the PHP module does not have control over the httpd.conf (or .htaccess files), you need to put a php.ini file with your needed changes in a file in the directory your PHP scripts are running in. Make sure the file is named php.ini and is in the public_html folder or past that. Meaning not in the root folder before.

A control panel is where you manage most tasks that your website needs. For example adding email, checking visitor details, and viewing files can all be done from your Control Panel otherwise known as cPanel. The account manager is where you handle billing, support tickets, buying new products, and things of that nature.

A web host is a place where you store the files (information) of your web site so that it may be accessed by anyone with an internet connection. This is often a computer with storage space and a permanent connection to the internet. Your website will not work on a computer unless it is permanently connected to the internet for all to see. I like to describe it as a piece of property where you can build your house on the Internet.

Starting a website is easy but you'll need at least two things to get started. Domain registration (which is your name/web address on the internet) and web hosting (the home/place where your website's files are stored). When you combine both, your website will be live on the internet.
